Alberta: Suspected Neo-Nazis Firebomb House
This is a story that I only heard today. In Calgary a home of two Communist Party Members was firebombed using molatov cocktails on February 12th. The couple and their four children were able to escape the home, but the home itself was badly damaged. Neo-Nazi white supremacist group members are suspected of causing the crime. The couple Jason Devine and Bonnie Collins believe the reason they were attacked was due to their strong Anti-Racism activism and workshops done around Calgary.
Alberta has had some of the strongest support for Neo-Nazi and white supremacist movements. Though other parts of the country have certainly experienced these movements as well, including white supremacist marches on Parliament Hill during the early 1990s where members were attacking people in the streets and giving the heil to the Canadian Anthem. Alberta however, is one of the few provinces where actual organized groups are active in comparison to unorganized racists here and there. As Neo-Nazi groups in the past few years in Alberta have actually held demonstrations. A great post on one of the groups The Aryan Guard can be found at the Anti-Racist Canada blog.

The Aryan Guard certainly is a problem in Calgary. Too many have been involved in asaults and other criminal activities.
There are a few individuals to focus on out in Ottawa as well. I plan on doing some articles on Ontario as well soon.
I definately seen more activity within the past 6 months or so here in Ottawa, but I haven't come across anything open and organized. But I did come across some racist graffiti (which usually you don't see in Ottawa) as well as a friend of mine was verbally assaulted by someone claiming to be a white supremacist. His girlfriend just called the cops who hauled him away. I'd be interested in seeing your posts on Ontario once your done.

and Nazis were SUSPECTED.
But for those who do not know
Devine is a pot head, the papers
did not mention this but Drug Dealers were suspected as well.
From all I know the AG do not know
where Devine Lives, or his old house.
And his family were In the house when it happened and NO SERIOUS damage had happened. It was Devines Patio Set that was set a fire. Nothing in the house..

Oi, just to let you know I am
underage so you have to remove my last name :)
But anyways there are accusations among tons of AG members for the Fire Bombings. And from what I know of none of them were at fault for it. And if they were than they would be in custody for it and doing there time. This is such an old case the cops have pretty much dropped it. As for the 2nd fire bombing the same night I did not hear about that in the media. Only about Devine's.
As for Tyler that is all said and done with and no reason why to be brought up.
